Our DREAMS schools in Karachi, Pakistan continue to grow with your
What Life is Like for Our Students.
The villagers have built a community in the largest landfills of Karachi, Pakistan. Here is where they make their living. Every day, over 100 tons of garbage is dumped on their home turf and they must live among the burning smoke, pollutants and dangerous gasses from the waste. Many of our students work in the landfill to support their families.
But with your
help we have made a difference
Since we opened our first DREAMS school in 2012 we have been able to expand our opportunities to ensure we can continue to enrich the lives of our students at every phase in life. We started with the opening of Campus lll a few years ago. Today we have built and are managing all of the sites below.

We need your
help now more than ever
Every Ramadan you put your faith in us. Thanks to your support we have been able to expand our on site facilities. We also don't sit on your funding, what you dedicate to us is invested in our people and projects that same year. The majority of it is put to work in Ramadan and the next few weeks that follow.
It provides clean water through an onsite filtration system that is
used to provide 10,000 gallons per day
and other dangerous chemicals are often present in ground water. We installed a
reverse osmosis filtration unit that is cleansing 10,000 gallons a day.
food for families who otherwise are uncertain where or when they might have
their next meal
we provide families in Kachra Kundi with a package of flour, sugar, oil and
rice to last them for the month. These families rely on us for these ration
packages right now in particular, as many jobs are halted in the month of
Ramadan. We're taking food insecurity to the next stage this year by launching pilot community farm initiatives. We hope that one day, villagers will be able to cultivate nutritious food so that they never go hungry.
keeps children safe and protects their right to receive an education
Every weekend our staff doubles duty as community counselors. Together, they go door to door to convince parents to send their kids to school. They continue to advise against child marriage so that young girls in the village have the chance to stand up on their own. They counsel against drugs, abuse and child labor. It provides creative and challenging opportunities for students to stay engagedIn 2021, we are launching STEM, robotics and coding programs for our students. We are providing programs otherwise unavailable at most standard schools throughout the city. We've even got a computer lab ready to launch in coming months. Our pre-k level education is on par with Montessori style curriculum to ensure we nurture students growth through holistic learning styles.

campus and beyond

It supports the future of our students
Today, more than half of our current graduating class at our DREAMS school goes onto Al Khair intermediary college. They are unable to pay for private universities. This allows them to continue to advance their education. Currently, 105 students are enrolled at the cost of $50 a month. Your donations ensure our students continue to chase their dreams. 80% of our student body is female
