Madalyn Vorrie will show you how to create simple pinch pots and transform them into winter trees. You will learn the basics of score and slip to attach clay. You will be able to decorate your tree with clay attachments and carvings in the first hour of the workshop. The second half will focus on painting our trees with underglaze. Examples to decorate your tree would be snow, ornaments, stars, hearts, strings of light, candy canes, etc. We will fire your pieces at our studio. You will schedule a time to pick up your tree with the instructor 1-2 weeks after class concludes.
