Take advantage of this great opportunity to work with our local gardener extraordinaire, Dick Carlson, to create a hyper-tufa garden trough and a tufa bowl with this beautiful stone-like material, which mimics a type of rock. Experiment with different oxides to color your concrete or create carved surface embellishments for your lightweight planter. Tufa containers are perfect for a variety of plants because of their superior drainage. They are especially appealing for succulents.

Richard Carlson is known in the region for his expertise and dedication to gardening and innovative planting containers. He has created beautiful community gardens that are enjoyed by all in every season.
