Join artist and naturalist Barbara Tagami for two days and an evening of strolling, gathering, fishing, studying, cooking and breaking bread together at Briggs Woods Park. We will cook what we find and catch, while learning about the medicinal qualities and lore surrounding each item. Barbara will share her recipes and information while students will work together to make a booklet for each to take home!
Barbara would like to invite everyone to an informal communal, Saturday evening. Break bread and cook over an open fire. Please bring something to contribute and guests are always welcome. You can also stay over in the Hickory Cabin; semi-private spaces are available for $40 per night. Reserve by calling 888-832-0012, first come, first served.
