Enjoy the fall foliage in beautiful Briggs Woods Park and experiment with various watercolor techniques to record that beauty in a personal keepsake painting. Work with an engaging, talented artist in a relaxed and casual setting to learn several simple techniques such as frisket, salt, and alcohol that will allow you to express yourself in this medium. You can observe the varied shapes and patterns of the trees native to the park and interpret them in your work. Please bring images or copies of photographs from your personal collections to works with and any watercolors or papers you have. There will also be supplies available for you to use so don’t worry if you have not had any experience with this medium. All levels are welcome.
Stay over in Oak Cabin, one of the beautiful modern log cabins at Briggs Woods Park. Semi-private spaces are available for $40 per night. Reserve by calling 888-832-0012 first come, first served.
