
MLK Day Community Meal
Uniting in Love through Food
The MLK Day Community Meal is a collaborative event between Madison's Central Business Improvement District, The Overture Center for the Arts, The Boys and Girls Club of Dane County, Feeding the Youth, the Black Men Coalition of Dane County, and Little John's Kitchens. Each meal is $5 and can be picked up at socially distanced tents at The Boys and Girls Club of Dane County, The Allied Family Center, 4619 Jenewein Rd, Fitchburg, WI 53711 Monday, January 18th from 11am-5pm.
Two satellite pick-ups locations been established:
Goodman Community Center (500 Meals) from 11-2
East Madison Community Center (100 Meals) from 12-3
The meal will be Macaroni and Cheese, Collard Greens and
Ham with Black Eyed Peas. There will be a limited number of vegetarian and gluten free meals.
Most meals will be Ready to Heat and
include instructions for warming. There will be a limited number of Ready to Eat meals for those without
warming capabilities. Please
let us know in the special instructions section at checkout if you need a Vegetarian, Gluten Free or Ready to Eat Meal. Thank you and we look forward to serving

Everyone is welcome and
everyone will be fed. Those who are able to purchase additional Pay-It-Forward
