The program includes two video scenes
celebrating African American visual artists: painter and muralist
Douglas, known as “the father of Black Art” and folk artist Clementine Hunter,
“the Black Grandma Moses”. The scenes are done in the Core Ensemble style
– solo actor with musical trio.
Because we’re doing this virtually, we can
include images of the amazing art. We are offering the show via
Zoom with a
live introduction and viewing of the video, followed by artist-led discussion.
