This is a permanently-endowed fund founded by SRS and funded for SRS young investigators.  Endowed gifts provide security over the long term by expanding the Foundation’s permanent financial base and creating a predictable source of future income for the awards provided. The base amount provided by you will be invested and those investment earnings will be utilized to fund awards in perpetuity.
