This fundraiser is different. It’s the first time a group of supporters came together to create this match opportunity. We live in a community of generosity and, this year alone, that generosity sponsored:
-15 high school students intern with us snd 4 undergraduates
-Removed over 12,500 lbs of trash
-Purchased 600 trees to plant in January
-Finished our Sea Salt Sea Love salt study
-Created a new plastic debris Community Art Sculpture
-Presented at 18 education events
-Started a new college chapter
-Created a film short called “Save the Whales 2.0”
-Received a solar simulator to test how plastic and biodegradable Plastic degrade under UV light
Help us receive the matched funds to support the continuation of this awesome and much needed work. Furthermore, 20% will go to our Global Ambassador, Getro Deliscas in Haiti where he has been working tirelessly to help provide water for the latest earthquake victims there.
