About Membership
Membership levels for the HIGN National Giving Circle:
- General Member - $25 Annually
- Executive Committee Member - $200 Annually
AS A MEMBER, YOU ARE:
- Contributing to a fund that gives 100% back to the Hmong community.
- Enabling organizations to provide support to the causes we care about.
- Investing in the future of the Hmong community and Hmong families.
- Included in a network of individuals throughout the United States, who want to make a difference in the Hmong community.
- Adopting a giving lifestyle that promotes compassion and creates opportunities.
AS A GENERAL MEMBER DONATING AT THE $25/YEAR LEVEL:
- You will get 3 votes and can vote on all initial grant applications that HIGN receives during its grantmaking cycle.
- You can volunteer to do a site visit with a potential grantee if the grant committee decides to have one.
- You can also sign up to work on a group project with selected Hmong organizations and/or final grantee to help build their capacity to be successful in serving their community.
AS AN EXECUTIVE MEMBER DONATING AT THE $200/YEAR LEVEL:
- You will get all the benefits of a general member as described above and,
- You will get an additional 3 votes for the final round of grantmaking once all general members have voted for their top 3.
- You will have the opportunity to take a leadership role at HIGN and help shape the infrastructure and set future goals for HIGN.
- You will get preference in speaking engagement and/or promoting your service/products/organization as co-sponsors at our events, online or in person.
- You will get priority support in creating a local giving circle in your city/state after being on the executive committee for 6 months.
