Every year the Mosaic Film Experience delivers an audience of more than 1,500 West Michigan High School students. Our 2021 event will be held November 3, 2021 at Celebration Cinema — celebrating 10 years of the Mosaic Film Experience! After the success of last year's online event, we are planning on a hybrid or online event depending on CDC requirements and school recommendations in November.

The Mosaic Film Experience is a nonprofit educational platform aimed at promoting diversity and digital equity. Using mobile filmmaking as a tool for learning 21st century work skills - we aim to level the playing field for digital creativity by encouraging students to tell their unique stories. We equip students with the critical thinking, collaboration and creative skills necessary for career preparedness.
Mosaic is opening up opportunities to showcase the world of digital arts and content creation to high school students. Part of Mosaic's mission is to bring this world to underserved students who may not have media as part of their curriculum. Digital content is a vital communication tool. Within the next 5 years, it is estimated that up to 80% of all content consumed will be digital. Our goal is to prep today’s students for that world.
