Next year, the Zoo will turn 100 and as part of this historic event, we are building our Centennial Wall of Fame in the Front Plaza of the Zoo where you can be permanently memorialized for all to see on a personalized tile.
In 1922, the Zoo began with a donation of 18 birds and some Barnum circus retirees. Today, Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo is a state of the art, nationally accredited, non-profit facility working year-round to care for more than 100 species – including some that are facing extinction.
Purchase your tile today and help your Zoo build toward its future. Your purchase will help the Zoo renovate and build new habitats, grow our educational opportunities both on and off-site, and create memorable guest experiences.
