We All Rise: African American Resource Center Inc. is a non-profit organization located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. We are a culturally specific, holistic healing agency that exists to serve the most marginalized population in Wisconsin, the African-American community. We provide equity-centered advocacy with individuals with histories of domestic violence, and sexual assault. We also deliver trauma-sensitive youth prevention services, psychological services and other mental health assistance, crisis and intake services on a daily basis, and 24-hour crisis line availability. Moreover, numerous people make frequent use of our clothing and incidental closet, youth center, job center, education/financial services (e.g., GED classes, Rent Smart Course, Financial Literacy/Black Business classes). We are very proud to report that we recently began operation of a 19,000 square foot, 49-room, highly structured and secure male transitional living facility to directly address the persisting unhoused for male survivors epidemic in our community. Our vision, mission, and grassroots movement building origin give us the expertise necessary to provide a breadth of quality services that truly go above and beyond traditional crisis intervention and survivor service delivery which are embodied by our culturally responsive and trauma informed 3 I’s of service provision, policies, and programs: [1] intentional survivor services consistently developed, enhanced, and informed by our staff and clients, [2] immediate connection with the most germane community referrals and on-site resources, leading to [3] impactful outcomes for those navigating at the margins of society-representative of all cultures in Brown County.
