For this class, students will be
able to develop their artistic abilities through numerous engaging projects
like creating storybook journals and self-portraits in the style of a selected
artist. The students will be pushed creatively as they work during this class
on refining their abilities in numerous mediums like charcoal, watercolor, and
ink. Each week the students will become familiar with working on projects that
span across class periods and how to build on their work through new ideas. By
the end of the class, students will have built on their personal abilities as
well as broadened their portfolios through multimedia projects that proudly
belong to them!
