Friends of Czemu By Nie (FOCBN) is a Reston Virginia based 501(c)3 charitable project dedicated to assist ongoing humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. FOCBN is partnered with Czemu By Nie (CBN) in Poland, an association of social initiatives actively delivering relief supplies into Ukraine and assisting refugees out of Ukraine.

Established in 2011, Czemu By Nie is a Polish Non-Governmental Organization. CBN beginnings focused on supporting individuals with disabilities, organizing cultural events and implementation of educational projects.  Over the years, their purpose expanded to helping provide immediate action wherever they can serve.

CBN is currently executing the following support to Ukraine:

• Medical, food, and other needed supplies via ground convoy
• Relocation assistance of refugees and vulnerable populations
• Direct coordination with Polish, Romanian, and Ukrainian authorities to efficiently conduct cross-border activities
• Housing facilities of over 180 beds and food services

Hundreds of tons of supplies have been generously donated in the United States to CBN for delivery to Ukraine via Poland. A portion of the funds raised by FOCBN will be used to pay shipping costs for this undertaking.

Friends of Czemu By Nie is a fiscally sponsored CORE Cause charitable project of CORE Foundation Inc, a 501(c)3 based in Reston, Virginia, EIN # 20-5997764. Contributions made to Friends of Czemu By Nie are tax-deductible. 100% of the donations received will benefit Czemu By Nie, a Polish Non-Governmental Organization, Association of Social Initiatives for support of CBN's humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.
