Building Singing Communities Workshop with Joey Weisenberg

Using concepts, actions and visions from his book Building Singing Communities, Joey Weisenberg discusses strategies for bringing people together to make music a lasting and joy-filled force in Jewish life.

Designed for leaders, activists, visionaries, and laypeople who want to transform the soundscape of their community, this workshop teaches by example techniques for facilitating closeness, setting up singing spaces, encouraging harmony, finding the groove, cultivating silence and more. This workshop is geared for informal and formal Jewish communities who incorporate singing in their worship, programs, and gatherings.

Participants will have the chance to  sing deeply, learn musical Torah, and ask questions.
