The only thing more German than drinking German bier is joining a stein hoisting competition, or maßkrugstemmen.
The true test of endurance and strength happens as you stare into a stein of icy cold beer without being able to take a drink. But hang on! Keep those elbows locked and your head in the game as a championship and some pretty cool prizes are on the line.
Can anyone enter?
Absolutely! As long as you are 21 years old, with proper I.D.
Women typically hold the 5 lb. glass stein for 2 minutes, and it's 3-5 minutes for men.
How much does it cost to enter?
$10 in Advance, $12 Day Of (as space allows)
Can I win something? Besides bragging rights and the Grand Hoister title? Every participant receives a commemorative DAS Fest USA 2021 inaugural year plastic 1 liter stein, with bier. Winners receive a prize package, and bonus bier!

Saturday, August 6th @ 2:30 PM & 6:30 PM
Sunday, August 7th @ 2:30 PM
There will be a men's division and a women's division. Space is limited. Advance registration is the only way to guarantee your spot. Registration on the day of the competition might be possible but cannot be guaranteed. We will be using the Official Steinholding rules as our guideline, but hey, we're all here to have fun, so please go easy on the judges.
