Missing Man Ministry-2022 Capital Campaign

From the President:

Thank you for considering supporting our ministry.   It truly is a ministry.  In so many ways.   In addition to supporting us directly, would you please consider "championing the cause" and/or sending the link to your networks? 

This year marks our third virtual campaign.  And like many other local non-profits, we too have seen an increased need for our ministry.  It's so refreshing and powerful to simply say "of course" to an M3 client.  Whether it be gas gift cards, grocery gift cards,  cars, etc.  Yes, we've purchased a couple of cars recently.  We can't stand to see a client pouring good money into an old beater car.  So we've had (and were delighted to!) to purchase a couple of used cars recently.  

On a personal note, I want to make it clear that Missing Man Ministry (M3) is not "mine".  And I didn't establish it in 2011.    I am currently the president of the organization and have been for +/- for four years.  We have a Board of Directors that includes Jiwon Ha, our treasurer and Ray Parkinson, our secretary.  Without their expert help, thinking and guidance, we would NOT be able to provide our services as we do.   I am grateful for their support and their engagement in M3.   

Volunteers.  We currently have a "core group" of active volunteers.   And we are always "on the lookout" for additional volunteers.  Please consider joining us, in any capacity, to serve those in need. Opportunities could include, light cleaning, yard work, moving/sorting, semi-regular “check-in calls”, etc.  Really we can use your help at ANY skill level. Our request is that you are seriously able and willing to help.       

2022 Campaign.  We're going to try one new thing with this year's campaign.  Instead of us emailing you with weekly updates, we simply ask that you check back weekly +/- for campaign updates.  We will be delighted to share our progress and our stories.   (and trust me..............this year's stories and college scholarship recipients WILL knock your socks off!  AMAZING!).

2022 Capital Campaign-College Scholarships

This year’s campaign includes a "Fund A Need" component for College Scholarships.  In case you don't know, Missing Man Ministry offers college scholarships every year,  for those young adults impacted by the loss of their father.  The only thing we ask is that the young adult prepare a simple letter about their story.  You will be amazed at their stories.   (Check back here for updates as the campaign continues).
