Wilderness Living Course info
No prior experience needed. Come alone or bring the family! Participants under 15 must be accompanied by guardian. Participants age 15-18 may come with out a guardian, but will have to have permission and waiver signed by a guardian). The course is 3 days and 2 nights. The wilderness living course provides more in-depth training on everything we cover in our Basic Survival Course plus a Wildcrafter Workshop with Stacie Walker on March 11th. This workshop will give you a foundation to build on in your personal journey to self-reliance.

Bring whatever camping gear you need to make your stay comfortable; tent, hammock, sleeping bags, tarp, etc (no RVs or campers). You will be camping fairly close to the parking area and will have access to your vehicle during the duration of the course. The course is three days and two nights.
Class starts at 9:00 AM every day. It is not mandatory, but for participants that live farther away, you may arrive after 5:00 PM the day before the first day of class at no extra cost. Be sure to coordinate this with us by calling 662-312-1401, so we can be sure to have an instructor present to show you where to set up.
If you live in the Starkville area much of these supplies can be purchased at Army Navy Pawn & Gun. They have also offered a discount on these supplies if you are purchasing for this course, so be sure to let them know!

Food and Water
Water source will be provided, but be sure to have a canteen or hydration device. Food is your choice. We suggest something you can cook over an open fire or whatever camp cooking equipment you bring. You will have access to your vehicle and the training area is fairly close to town and local eateries.
Directions to the training area will be provided upon registration for the course.
Payments are non-refundable. If you can’t make it to a course you already paid for you can roll that payment over as a credit towards any of our courses. Credit is good for two years from payment.
This is a family friendly course. Training will usually end around 5:00 PM every day. We will have some projects for participants to work on in their free time. It is free time and you can go to town or go for a walk or make new friends. We do ask that everyone be considerate of fellow students. No fighting, loud music, or drugs allowed in the camping area or training areas. Kingdom Outdoor instructors reserve the right to send students home at their discretion if their actions disrupt training or jeopardize the wellbeing of other students. No refund will be issued and no credit provided for future courses.
