Spring into Easter! Basket Donations

Our 48th annual Spring into Easter! Celebration will provide Easter Baskets for children in need! Our goal is to collect 1,500 baskets to serve 1,500 kids.

We will be hosting our Spring into Easter! Event drive-thru style on Saturday, April 1st at Huntington Assembly of God, and distributing Easter Baskets for children in need with to-go family brunch! We are so excited to enjoy this special Easter season with the children of the Mission families. We know this is such a special and encouraging event for them. They are doing their best and working hard, and often struggle to make ends meet. An Easter basket full of fun toys, candy, and Easter treats at no charge to these incredibly hardworking parents is a tangible way to remind these families that we care for them deeply. Let's celebrate the resurrection of our Savior and the coming spring!

We are receiving Easter treats and baskets prepared according to the guidelines below on March 28-31 during donation hours at Helping Hand Rescue Mission!

Please note that we CANNOT accept donations during our pantry distribution hours in order to maintain the safety of our Clients.

Baskets should include all of the following:

- A chocolate bunny or cross
- Jelly beans
- Fake grass
- Several simple, age appropriate toys! We love silly putty, play dough, Easter stuffed animals, coloring books, crayons, small cars and dolls, bubbles, jump ropes, sidewalk chalk, puzzles, stickers, temporary tattoos, etc.
- Easter candy!

The children celebrating at this event are ages 2-13. We are also accepting jelly beans, chocolate eggs, and other soft candies to give out during our distribution hours. 

We are so excited to give them beautiful, full baskets with all these wonderful toys and treats to enjoy as the weather grows warmer. We couldn't do this without the love and support of YOU, our wonderful community. We are so GRATEFUL for being a venue through which we can all give back and love our neighbors. We are so happy to be able to celebrate and spread joy as the seasons change!
