Important:
If you're signing up a team of people for a shift, you'll need to provide on checkout the first name, last name, and t-shirt size for each team member, and you'll be responsible for communicating all forthcoming details to your team.
Volunteer positions available:
Biertender, Pourers and Servers Information Ambassador Parking Attendant Dachshund & Corgi Race Judge Setup and Teardown Ticket Sales This position is open to staff, friends and vetted volunteers of nonprofit partner agencies of the United Way of Walworth County and its Board Members. Monetary donation will be given for hours worked based on the overall profitability and at the discretion of the DAS Fest USA Board. Register training will be held Thursday, August 3rd at 5:30 pm in the Biergarten Pavilion, beverages provided. Main locations:
The Oktoberfest Tent is the huge 100 x 200 tent with the giant PROST letters on the outside and headline acts performing on the main stage.
The Biergarten is in the center of it all with the bar located in the Pavilion. It's a casual hangout for festgoers, with traditional German tunes played on the Biergarten (Park) stage, and a busy, busy bar.
The Backyard is relocating this year across the road under a 60 x 80 tent. This is where cans of local craft brews can be found, along with some favorite local "beyond-oompah" bands. The Bark Park is where the little-legged Dachshunds and Corgis race. For those of you who know the Walworth County Fairgrounds, it's Machinery Lot.

Volunteers will receive the following for each shift worked:
One sandwich from the famous Mader's Restaurant on the grounds! One bier token! An official DAS Fest USA Team t-shirt! When you sign up by June 1, 2023! Designated free parking! Happiness knowing all proceeds help several local nonprofit organizations! Volunteers who sign up by July 1, 2023, will see their name on the volunteer recognition banner on the DAS Fest USA grounds, on the volunteer page of the DAS Fest USA and United Way of Walworth County websites, and in a Facebook post.
HELP NEEDED WITH SETUP AND TEARDOWN *** Sign up for setup or teardown, choose a United Way of Walworth County nonprofit partner agency, and we'll make a donation to them on your behalf. To see the list of agencies, click HERE .***
Mom always said, "many hands make light work". We need a village to help set up Wednesday 8/2 and Thursday 8/3. Also, please join us at 6:30 pm on Sunday 8/6 to break down tables and chairs, pack up the decorations, etc. Thank you!
Team Competition: we're giving away an extra $1500 to charity!
Sign up as a team of 4 or more! Wear your company shirt, or German attire - or both! We'll pick a best-dressed/most-enthusiastic winning team each day of the festival. The winners will select their favorite United Way of Walworth County nonprofit partner , and we'll award that organization $500 in the winning team's honor!
