A community-based Restorative Justice approach thrives on having the space to be creative and flexible. Support from The Sustainer's Circle expands the opportunities we have to engage with youth and the community beyond our regular programs. Programs like RESTART and Impact Circles give us the opportunity to develop a relationship with a struggling youth. We don't want that relationship to end when they complete the program.

Sustaining donations allow us to offer opportunities for continued connection with these youth, such as:

• Taking a group of kids fishing
• Planning a Game Night with pizza and video games
• Adventuring on the ropes course at Miracle Heights Adventures
• Summer Enrichment Days, focusing on arts, life skills, career building
• Group outings for baseball or basketball games
• Painting a mural for our classroom

Sustaining donations also allow us to respond to community needs for healing and repair, such as offering Circles for connection and/or healing, and being part of collaborative community projects that address the larger harms impacting people in our community.  

Sustainers will receive quarterly updates about what's happening at Triad RJ, and be invited to join us for special celebrations and circle discussions throughout the year.
