About Saint Joseph Renewal Center
Saint Joseph Renewal Center is a training facility for education and evangelization whose proceeds will be supporting the missions of the Josefheim Foundation. It will have initially 75 guestrooms with support facilities such as conference rooms, dining-kitchen areas, a staff house, a chapel, grassy meadows for outdoor training, parking, and much more. The design concept shall be Tudor-Style architecture, of sprawling type plan with a total of 5000 square meters of floor space.
OUTCOMES OR MILESTONES:
Target planning and construction document completion are on or before March 19, 2024, in time for the Feast Day of St. Joseph. This will also be the Kick-off/start date of construction which is projected to be completed in the year 2027 (March 19).
CLIENTELLE:
The venue/facility will cater to various ministries and communities, parishes, pastoral councils, corporate management teams, priesthood retreats, school retreats, and more.
OBJECTIVES:
The Goal of the construction of the Saint Joseph Renewal Center facility is to serve as a catalyst to:
a. Spread the Good news of Salvation and to bring hope to the community, as well as the country;
b. Serve as a hub for developing a self-supporting, sustainable community of peoples that would grow its own food (meat, dairy, and vegetables), have green energy for electricity and water, promotes local job creation, volunteerism, and eco-tourism;
c. Promote awareness of the need to take care of Mother Earth, and encourage solutions to climate-change problems;
d. Sustain in a holistic manner, physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally a community of Christians that would follow the footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ, to "love one another".
e. Aim to be a prototype development plan that will be replicated in other parts of the country.
