Let's come together and celebrate our community's March birthdays, International Women's Day and the "Movers and Shakers" who are making positive change in the world around us - through art, music, fashion, poetry and performance. 

This event will be an exciting evening mixer taking place within the Drawing Room's SKY exhibition and will host a fashion show by designer Monique Zhang, and musical performance by Caroline Chung and Citizens Jazz. Doors open at 5pm

This event is a fundraiser - to extend the time of the Drawing Room at 780 Valencia by another year or more. Donations will go directly to funding the jobs we've created for artists and opportunities to the larger, local arts community and the cost of the space itself. This space at 780 Valencia affords the ability to have a unique model for showcasing local artists work, while creating impactful and thoughtfully curated exhibitions. By creating inclusive calls for art about topics relevant to humanity and for humanity. We have created something extraordinary and want to continue to do more. We cannot do it without the support of the people who this impacts. Supporting spaces like this that can affect many and impact everyone who passes through - as artist or patron.

In just one year, the Drawing Room ANNEX has represented over 1200 local Bay Area artists, hosted 8 all-inclusive calls for art and correlating exhibitions and created countless new supporters of the arts and our audience. Our role is to act as a springboard for artists to find opportunities that will open doors for stability and growth through their work and artistic practice. The Drawing Room has provided free access to our exhibitions and weekly musical performances, while giving artists exposure to the public and opportunities beyond the space and exhibition. At a time when societally we need the experiences that elevate the human condition, giving space and room for thought, and connecting artists to their audience - we serve this in a way that few can.
