About 2023 Fightmaster Cup
The Fightmaster Cup is a prestigious international
adaptive golf competition where the top 12 one-armed golfers from North
America, qualified by the North American One-Armed Golfer Association (NAOAGA),
compete against the top 12 from Europe’s Society of One-Armed Golfers. The
Society, founded in 1932, is one of the oldest disabled sports organizations in
the world. NAOAGA, founded in 2000, has run events across the USA and Canada
and has saved, assisted & inspired many lives over its 23-year existence.
Named after one of NAOAGA's founders, Don
Fightmaster, the Fightmaster Cup originated in 2008 at the Cardinal Club in
Simpsonville, KY, as a part of Louisville’s Cup Experience festival celebrating
the 2008 Ryder Cup. Since its inception, the event has been played in Wales
(2010), Chicago (2012), Scotland (2014), California (2016), and England (2018).
The 2020 and 2022 events were postponed due to Covid19. Now, it is back in
Kentucky.
Proceeds raised for this incredible event from your contributions will go directly to player costs for transportation, lodging, food, and golf during the week. NAOAGA and the Society strongly feel that if a player qualifies for this premiere event, then they have achieved the absolute pinnacle of their sport and should be able to enjoy this lifetime achievement without worrying about cost.
We are SINCERELY APPRECIATIVE of your contributions that make this possible!
