The Bed Build Learn and Serve project introduces the foster care community while helping provide children with one of their essential needs. Volunteers of many ages and skill levels learn planning, budgeting, team leadership, power tool skills, safety, and more!

The state requires that each child have a bed for placement into a home. Each bed built today either allows a family member to meet the requirement, preventing a child from entering the foster care system or allows a foster family to meet the requirement, allowing a child to move directly to their home. 

The beds, complete with mattresses and bedding, will be donated to local organizations that resource essential items, small and large, that meet the emergency needs of families impacted by foster care. Click Here (Amazon Wish List) to help offset costs for mattresses and
