About Volunteer for the 2024 Expos!
Aging Together needs volunteers to help with our 3 Expos in September and October. Jobs are outlined below. For more information or If you'd like to help, click on the specific Expo buttons (scroll down). Expo is one of Aging Together's most popular events. Have some fun, gather great resources, and offer a supportive hand. Thank you for helping!
FAUQUIER EXPO: September 7
Help includes:
- Setting Up for event - involves some lifting and placement of tables and chairs.
- Outside: Help direct attendees where to park and where to enter the Fauquier Health Conference Center Area.
- Inside: Help direct attendees where to go to reach the Fauquier Health Conference Center, as there are a few places that they might enter and it can be confusing.
- Assist with registration and door prize distribution.
RAPPAHANNOCK EXPO: September 18
- Assist with registration and door prize distribution. This job would take place from 9:30AM to the conclusion of the event. (2-3 people)
CULPEPER EXPO: October 3
- Inside: Set up space. May include light -lifting (moving and placement of chairs).
- Outside: Help direct attendees where to park and where to enter.
- Inside: Help direct attendees within the venue.
- Assist with registration and door prize distribution.
All Volunteers would need to familiarize themselves with the Expo layout which will be shared when ready.
