“My STEM journey started with a love of mathematics. I was able to pass my College Algebra CLEP exam in 7 th grade. In high school I participated in a couple internship programs helping with coding on government research and it was then that I knew I wanted to make a career of it. I hope to continue to intern on government projects during my summer breaks. These experiences are very rewarding to me. One day I want to write code for cutting-edge technologies used for military applications. I want to make a difference.”
