IT Biz, as part of the Cisco Networking Academy, will use Cisco’s CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry-level Network Technician) training curriculum delivered in person at a hands-on technology lab to prepare clients for careers in IT involving the implementation, management and support of networks.
As a result, participants will qualify for sustainable opportunities at global and local technology companies.
The core of IT Biz is its 16-week technology training classes that will use both in class and online training to equip students with the skills and certifications needed to secure sustainable Entry Level Network Technician positions in the IT Industry. The training will culminate in a certification exam to obtain the CCENT certification.
In addition to learning computer networking, students will attend a 3-phase financial literacy class, resume writing, and interviewing and job searching techniques.
Classes will take place Saturdays (10:00 am – 4:30 pm) on site at 22580 Grand Street in Hayward, CA and remotely (via video conferencing) on Mondays (6:00 pm – 9:30 pm). The first class is scheduled to start Saturday, January 26, 2019 and will complete in May 2019.
We have a 3-phase selection process. First, there is the Application due January 16th. If available, please also email your resume and a letter of recommendation from the referring agency or a professional reference from an individual including their contact information to Miguel@LoveNeverFailsUs.com. Second, Assessment, includes grammar, mathematics, and computer literacy. Finally, there’s an Interview phase. This is a progressive process, so not all applicants will be invited to the next phase.
Thank you for your interest in the IT Biz Networking Academy. We wish much
success in this process and in all your future endeavors.
