Carnicom Institute
CI is seeking
funding for the creation of the book Carnicom Institute: Research
for the Benefit of Humanity .
This
book will tell the story of Carnicom Institute: its history spanning
more than 20 years, the current state of affairs, and the future that
lies before us all. This book is intended for the general lay
audience and its purpose is to relate the substance, the importance,
the value, the implications, the consequences and implications of the
important unique work accomplished by this small independent
non-profit research organization. This book will also serve as a
stepping stone toward the creation of the Carnicom Foundation, an
ambitious project that will carry the work of CI forward decades into
the future. A paramount need exists to translate the vast library of
hundreds of research papers into a succinct and palatable version
that the public can easily understand. This book is long overdue: the
time is now!
The
funding for this project is initially estimated at $30K-35K. This
funding amount is intended to encompass the one to two year project,
covering the extensive and committed work that will be required by
the author and the subsequent editing. A collaborating author has
been selected for this project. This financial request covers the
collaborating author expenses only; publishing requirements will
mandate a separate campaign.
The
public deserves this book. It will represent a cornerstone to the
understanding of vast and consequential environmental and health
research conducted for the benefit of humanity by the Carnicom
Institute.
