Yoga+ is founded in a yoga practice and also includes elements of Tai Chi, Pilates, Balletone, and more practices that will benefit those who have survived abuse in these ways:
increase body awareness
facilitate strength and stability
help our bodies remember the rhythms of work and rest
help us keep our focus on our own process by mentally "staying on our mat"
help us identify what we need
and develop healthy boundaries
The 1 1/2 hour session has two parts:
Education to increase self understanding, developing a tool belt of techniques to use when triggered.
1 hour of movement to include Yoga and other practices.
Join us in resetting our neurological systems through a consistent practice of Yoga+. Our instructor, Amy, is a registered RN and trained in the connection between body & mind.
