About Educate to Save Lives
HEP is launching a new Language Learning & Technology program in Ouanaminthe, Haiti starting January 2020. Our goal is to raise funds to create a 21st-century education technology center where people can get access to the internet 24/7. With your donation, you will be helping young people in Haiti gain access to critical learning advantages as well as the opportunity to gain lifelong computing skills.
Your donation will go towards:
- Establishing electrical infrastructure using renewable solar energy to provide access.
- Establishing a computer lab for students to take hybrid language learning and technology courses. Future courses will include basic internet skills, Microsoft Office skills, coding, graphic design and many more.
- Hiring two highly-qualified Haitian educators and an administrator to engage in rigorous English language coursework, as well as jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities.
Founded in 2003, the Haitian Education Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that aims to build self-sufficient communities in Haiti through effective education programs.
