Integrative Healers Action Network (IHAN) holds a vision of resilient communities supported by trauma-informed integrative healthcare for first responders and survivors impacted by disasters. Typically, we support this vision through our emergency integrative health and medicine clinics that we run at Red Cross shelters throughout the state of California during a major climate crisis. Due to the current Covid-19 global pandemic, we are pivoting our efforts by creating and sharing free virtual integrative health offerings from our network of volunteer practitioners to help mitigate the impacts of collective trauma, stress, and anxiety.
Whether you are sheltering in place at home or working on the frontlines as a healthcare worker, first responder, or other essential service worker, we are working hard to provide resources that can support your physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. Additionally, IHAN is still preparing for California's upcoming fire season and we are implementing programs for first responders to help mitigate the symptoms of burnout that many are experiencing during this unprecedented time.
This Giving Tuesday Now, we are asking for your support. We need your help so we can continue bringing integrative medicine to the frontlines of disaster response. Any amount makes a big difference!
