Sanitation leads have already been placed at post in each village to ensure villagers are compliant in good hygiene and sanitation practice; however consistent training and messaging will need to take place several times a year throughout the communities.
Twice a year (Spring and Fall), a team of 40 trained healthcare volunteers will go door to door in each community to perform below actions:
Cost and candidates benefited: There will be no cost to the villagers, this will be a program implemented to benefit the six communities surrounding our maternity clinic. Included communities: Blama Perri, Golahun, Juhun, Perri-Bo, Matagbema and Vaama. The total cost to implement the program 2X a year will be $3000.
