On behalf of Asian Women For Health, thank you for attending our 8th annual CelebrAsians fashion benefit ! As many nonprofits have had to pivot to virtual fundraising, we are grateful for your commitment to helping us achieve our goals this year . Your generous support will enable us to empower more women impacted by cancer and trauma, emotional and behavioral challenges, and the stigmas and health disparities surrounding them. Together, we raised over $25,100 , with additional donations still coming in! We are deeply grateful to all of our compassionate supporters -- sponsors, partners, donors, volunteers, artists, models, and guests -- for banding together to celebrate our survivor models and advance our mission . We are also grateful to Susana Lorenzo-Giguere and her heartfelt words about her mother -- this year’s honoree, May Siu Yin Kwan Lorenzo. Our community continues to be inspired by May’s legacy and contributions as a passionate advocate of cultural competence in mental health and social services .
