ABOUT Avatar Meher Babas Circle of Friends

When we came together in fall of 2005, it was because our hearts went out to the Katrina victims and we wanted to help. At the request of Baba lovers in the affected areas, we sent many boxes of donated Baba books, pictures, CDs, etc. As a result, a New Orleans Meher Baba Group started. A Meher Baba Jazz Sahavas happened at the same time as the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in May 2006. People from here in the Myrtle Beach area attended, and helped clean homes in the 9th ward. In keeping with Baba's Wish, "Understanding that Baba is in everyone, try to help and serve others", we have continued these efforts by focusing our energies on Mastery in Servitude to all those in need in the local community. We have worked with individual community members and community organizations. We also sponsor fellowship gatherings to nurture our remembrance of Beloved Meher Baba and our enjoyment of His company in our companionship with each other. Join us. Read and post announcements and concerns on our Facebook page and in The Circle News! Let us know what needs you or others you love may have. If you wish to volunteer in any capacity, contact our Service Director to find out what opportunities to serve Beloved Meher Baba in the community are available. Or you can look at the positions available on our VOLUNTEER page. You can also help by making a donation. Membership is $5.00 per year per individual and donations in any amount are welcome..
