Help Fund American Youth Academy Expansion Project



AYA is an Islamic school based in Tampa, Florida and is one the largest in the nation, spanning over 113,000 square feet. in 2014, AYA was awarded the status of IB World School Offering the Diploma Programme, the only Islamic School on the East Coast with this honor. Our Expanding Excellence Capital Campaign will enable us to build an expanded state-of-the-art facility that will increase student capacity and enrollment, and scale our current academic and extracurricular activities. This new building will provide more than 30 classrooms, two science labs, two computers labs, an art room, a multipurpose room/cafeteria and a gym. This will allow us to provide students with an excellent student-to-teacher ratio to meet all student educational, physical and social needs.

As it has been, AYA will continue to serve the school while also serving the community through the new community center. This community center will include sporting events, social gatherings, summer programs, workshops, seminars and allow us to invite Muslim speakers and public figures to enhance our general and faith knowledge.
