On May 13, 2022 during AHARI's 10th Anniversary celebration AHARI kicks-off a capital campaign for AHARI VETERANS VILLAGE. More than a mantra! A Home Is A Right is the spark of a movement and manifestation of homes for underserved and under-housed veterans and their families. AHARI VETERANS’ VILLAGE is a 12-unit development in University City Philadelphia that features garden space for local residents, AHARI offices, and community space and programming. AHARI asks for your support to help raise the $4.3 million needed to erect AHARI Veterans’ Village.

Your help get us closer to developing homes within positive community and helps AHARI centralize its resources and expand its programming. AHARI has been blessed with a dynamic development team. Now, we just need you!

Please, help AHARI move veterans in need from transitional to permanent and supportive housing, get our Veterans out of drug infested areas, substandard housing, and provide the resources they need to live “life on life’s terms”.

AHARI - A Home Is A Right is a 501 (c) (3) veteran services non-profit founded in 2011 by Stephanie Booker during her Master’s Program at Eastern University. Once homeless battling chemical dependencies and depression, Stephanie, a veteran widow, understands the plight and needs of the community AHARI serves and, therefore, ensures AHARI provides holistic programming that not only supports veterans in surviving but works toward building thriving healthy families and communities, not just houses, but real homes.
