Joe Bailey is a loving and humorous Husband and Father, to his wife Sharon, and two children, Chris (29) and Nathan (20).  Joe was 49 when he was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in December 2019 after having motor function issues and being hospitalized on Thanksgiving. He had brain surgery on Christmas Eve day to remove as much of the tumor as possible without causing severe paralysis.   Joe has needed around the clock care to help with daily activities since the surgery.  Over the past year, he has lost most of the function in his left arm and hand.  He is experiencing physical decline and moderate cognitive decline more recently.  He has continued physical therapy and occupational therapy to help maintain the ability to walk. 

Prior to this life event, Joe had a long-term career (31 years) with U.S. Auto Force.  He started with the company 1989 working in the warehouse and worked his way up to Director of Sales in more recent years, a job he loved.  Joe has since gone on long term disability, as he is no longer able to work, which was quite possibly the most devastating transition since all this happened.
