Enjoy the great outdoors this winter at the

2021 Long Lake Winter Fest & Ice Fishing Contest.

Held among the beautiful north woods of Wisconsin on Long Lake, this event is for the avid fisherman and families alike. Activities include an ice fishing contest with cash prizes, snowshoe relay, music, food, and kids activities.

Proceeds from this event benefit Benjamin's House, the area shelter serving the homeless and people in need. Benjamin's House is a 90-day program shelter serving up to 24 adults and children at a time. The shelter use a wraparound case management approach with the aim to develop a personalized self-sufficiency plan with each resident. Benjamin's House works with resources already available in our communities to help residents find employment, housing, and medical assistance, and to remove other barriers that led to homelessness.

In 2020 Benjamin's House received 427 calls from individuals/families looking for shelter.

The shelter provided services for 107 adults and 25 children.

Benjamin's House is 100% supported by donations and fundraising - thank you for your support!
