Hero's Helpers

Dear Friends of Hero’s Bridge,
We step into 2023 with a great deal of excitement as we endeavor to expand our service area to support more of our nation’s heroes. We continually receive calls for services beyond our Piedmont region homebase and stand ready to serve as a resource for aging veterans in need regardless of their hometown. To achieve this, we have expanded our team of talented staff and volunteers and apply their knowledge to efficiently and effectively serve this venerable population. Our generous supporters have made these investments possible and for that we are earnestly grateful.
This concentrated effort is going to require continued investment. We are blessed to have loyal monthly supporters whose ongoing donations have been an inspiration to our team. In 2023, this generous group will be known as our “Hero Helpers” and will enjoy opportunities and benefits unique to their commitment. Our goal is to grow this cohort to an “army” of supporters in service to those who have fought for us.
The Hero Helpers will be honored for their commitment with a few tokens of our appreciation through the year, including:
- A participant pass for our national virtual Vietnam Veterans 5k in March, also held as a local race at Molon Lave Vineyards in Warrenton, VA, on March 25, 2023; this includes Hero’s Bridge exclusive medal and T-shirt;
- A quarterly Hero Helper Insider newsletter;
- A small gift commemorating Veterans Day; and
- Recognition in our Annual Report
Join our Hero Helpers in 2023. A monthly gift for $10-$50 will help serve more veterans throughout the Piedmont with our Battle Buddy Program, Paw Patrol, HomeFront services, and/or Honor Guard services.
Hero’s Bridge is the one and only agency who provides these benefits exclusively to veterans over the age of 65. They are worthy of our effort. They fought for us. We fight for them.
