Upcoming: change in donation platform for Homies Empowerment

Whether you’ve supported us in the past or continue to support us today, we want to express our deepest gratitude for believing in our work and helping us uplift the communities of East Oakland. Your contributions, whether one-time or ongoing, have fueled the expansion of our programs, touched thousands of lives, and driven meaningful change. We truly couldn’t do this vital work without you!

We’re writing to inform you of an important change: starting February 9, 2025, Homies Empowerment will transition to a new fiscal sponsor, and as part of this shift, we’ll be moving from our current donation platform, Flipcause, to Classy.

Key Dates to Note:

  • By March 2025, we’ll fully transition to Classy and phase out Flipcause.

If you have a recurring donation through Flipcause and wish to continue supporting us, we’d greatly appreciate it if you cancel your recurring donation by the end of February and set up a new one through Classy. For those who’ve supported us with one-time donations, your generosity has made a tremendous impact, and we hope you’ll consider giving through Classy in the future as well. 

To facilitate this process, we will share the updated donation link by February. 

We are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible, so we will provide clear instructions and ongoing updates as we finalize details with our new fiscal sponsor.
