Trifecta Family Funfest Event, March 26, 2021
Cahal Dunne, Book Sale, Food Truck Friday
There will be three events that day for your family’s enjoyment, all of them observing mask required Covid precautions for everyone’s safety.
In five sessions, Cahal will greet guests in groups of 50 in the Suncoast Technical College Conference Center to sing The Fields of Athenry, the song which inspired the book. He will talk about Athenry and read select passages. And he will sign your copy if you would like. Select a time slot when you make your donation. When you donate $25.00 you will receive Cahal Dunne's new book Athenry and a link to the PBS Cahal Dunne special Thank You America.
From 10-4 FOSSPL will be conducting a HUGE sale of books, CDs, DVDs, and other items in the Shannon Staub Library’s large meeting room AND in the FOSSPL bookstore. Yes, this sale’s so big we need to hold it in two places! Fill a bag for $5.
Three of our favorite Food Truck Friday vendors will be at the library entrance from 11:00-4:00. Come taste the fare of Jersey Shore Crab Company, Baylor's Southern Soul Food (barbecue), and Sunny Days Ice Cream. These providers are guaranteed to have menu items your whole family will enjoy. Grab a lunch and/or bring something home for an early dinner. This is truly “Food Truck Casual” so bring a couple of lawn chairs or your beloved beach blanket and dine picnic style.
Folks can also take advantage of this
ordering opportunity in the FOSSPL bookstore with check, or credit card.
The Shannon Staub Library and the FOSSPL bookstore are located at 4675 Career
Lane, I-75 exit 179, (Cranberry/Toledo Blade) in North Port, Florida. For more
