Session Learning Objectives:
At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:
- Program participants will be able to cite state-level immunization disparity data related to the LGBTQ population.
Program participants will be prepared to identify barriers to immunizations that lead to these disparities.
Program participants will then be able to utilize promising practices and proven strategies to reach the LGBTQ patient population with immunization information

The University of Pittsburgh is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Other health care professionals attending this program will receive a Certificate of Attendance confirming 1.0 hours of continuing education in a CME accredited program. For nurses, these hours may be considered eligible for completing the 30 hours of continuing education required for biannual nursing re-licensure in Pennsylvania.
