The Young Botanist July 5th-9th
Students will explore 110 acres of gardens and boreal forest learning to identify native plants, weeds, beneficial insects, critters living in nearby Campbell Creek, and how native plants can be used as medicine. Campers should be able to walk up to 4 miles per day. Expert staff lead campers through fun, hands-on, science-based environmental education activities. All camp materials are provided as well as weekly take-home projects. Adult to camper ratio is 1:8.
Our camps are held outside rain or shine in our tent covered outdoor garden classroom. Campers staying the full day should pack a lunch and snacks for each day. All campers need to bring extra clothing layers, water bottle, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, closed-toed shoes (no sandals), and a backpack. Please leave all toys and electronics at home. Books are always welcome.
Full Day camp runs from 9:00am-3:30pm. Campers enrolled in our before and after care may be dropped off as early as 8:30am and must be picked up by 5:15pm. Extended care is $75/child/week; no refunds for cancellations or adjustments made during their week of camp. Any changes to your child's drop-off or pick-up times must be made at least 24 hours in advance in writing or in person to the Camp Director, Stacey Shriner.
There is a $25 cancellation fee up to 10
days before the start of camp. No refunds given with less than 10 days
notification. Please call the Camp Director, Stacey Shriner at
