Celebrating African American Visual Artists Feb 25
The program includes two video scenes celebrating African American visual artists: painter and muralist Aaron Douglas, known as “the father of Black Art” and folk artist Clementine Hunter, known as “the Black Grandma Moses”. The scenes are done in the Core Ensemble style – solo actor with musical trio. Because we’re doing this virtually, we can include images of the amazing art. We are offering the show via Zoom with a
live introduction and viewing of the video, followed by artist-led discussion. |
