Photography Workshop Series
Creativity Destroys Barriers with photography
Casey Sizemore, of KC Maxwell Media, and Starr Avenue Co. are partnering to offer a series of photography workshops beginning March 20 at the VFW Post 1836 in Lufkin.
The workshops — which will be like a photography club — will be held every other month; alternating between Lufkin and Nacogdoches. We plan to have guest photographers speak from time-to-time, and have a brief introduction into various topics surrounding photography. Don’t worry if you are not familiar with the terms and science behind photography, we plan to break it down and keep it straight forward and simple.
At the end of the year, we hope to hold a photo exhibit to showcase the attendees' work, if they choose to do so.
Whether you’re just curious about the wonders of photography, just starting and would like to step up your picture game, or are a seasoned professional, all are welcome to attend. In the words of Casey Sizemore, “It doesn’t matter what level photographer you are, we can all afford to learn something new, or something from you."
The mission of this endeavor is to foster a community of photographers in Deep East Texas, to learn from one another, and to network.
Casey Sizemore has 12 years of professional photography experience as a print journalist, and is also a videographer in the Deep East Texas area. If you have any questions you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Masks/face coverings are required.
