Introduction
At first we (Hi-lo, RVP Vicky Pike, Dr. Lorna) talked about utilizing book reading for fundraising...
and Dr. Nancy Walch created a slogan for our book reading fundraiser, collaborated with Major Ramon Sumicbay,
and Tina Salvador, Founding President of PNA Hawaii and PNAAF Board of Trustee, and Bong Dayon as our film Director.
It all started with a spark…a spark that eventually turned into a labyrinth of ideas!
Goal
Goal is to support the SPARK Mantra Administration initiatives 2020-2022 Regional, National, International conventions.
Percentage of the proceeds will go towards supporting the 42nd PNAA Annual National & 2nd Virtual Convention, sponsored by the PNAA New England.
Conceptual Framework
We are spearheading An Evening of Reading, Rhyme, Rhythm and Style Virtual Campaign to all our friends to participate by reading a good book or audio book during this crisis.
As we go through these difficult times, we find a silver lining in staying home in an effort to prevent the spread of the virus.
Let’s grab our book wine and let’s read or do audio book!
With this concept, we challenge our friends, colleagues to read a book, can be an action and adventure, classic, poem, graphic novel, detective and mystery, Historical fiction, horror, literary fiction. and share the synopsis of the book, and what make it Sparks?
Must do a Pre-recorded 5 minutes video featuring the Reader.
The Reader will feature a book, talk about the story/ Synopsis, what make it Spark. No more than 5 minutes video. Can have soft background music or props per readers preference (ex. Wine cheese nice scenery backdrop!)
