VOOM Ambassadors aim to promote awareness and raise funds for the VOOM Foundation which seeks to improve the healthcare system of Nigeria. The Foundation not only sends surgeons and physicians to Nigeria on medical missions, but is also currently building and staffing a hospital with our medical partner the Dame Irene Okwuosa Memorial Hospital, in Oriafite, Nigeria. VOOM is interested in sustainable medical programs so that all Nigerians may have access to quality and affordable healthcare. After all, if you give a man a fish, he eats a meal, but if you teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime.
