Volunteer alongside your neighbors to cleanup our community!
Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome in partnership with Metro Council members will be hosting parish-wide service projects on Saturday, April 24th.
Our goal is to unite neighbors and communities through physical service, engagement, and youth development.
We will be operating under the guidance of the CDC - tools will be limited as well as restrictions on volunteers allowed within one location, ( i.e. no more than 25 Volunteers).
Operation Cleanup volunteer-based community beautification program under the Office of Community Development, in partnership with Mid City Redevelopment Alliance. Our mission is to work with resident volunteers to revitalize and beautify EBR Parish one block at a time. We strive to reduce litter, illegal dumping, and blight in East Baton Rouge Parish.
When you volunteer with our program, you get to develop revitalization projects that will make Baton Rouge more attractive, sustainable, and safe. You get to lead these projects and get your community members involved. You make the change in your neighborhood. To help you do these things, we provide in-kind and technical support through partnerships between you and city officials, city services, local organizations, and community members.
